Founder of FeverPress, David brings a deep background in corporate strategy and issues management with more than 20 years of experience as a lawyer and a communications practitioner. David has established his reputation as a strategic counselor to companies and their senior management teams, helping them successfully navigate complex and often highly sensitive public relations matters. David’s issues management assignments have included mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, hostile situations, IPOs and a variety of crises.

David has developed and implemented highly impactful corporate positioning campaigns for a variety of public and private companies. He has worked with companies in a variety of sectors including financial services, where he has worked with nearly all of the leading U.S. investment banks and many alternative asset management firms, retail / consumer, media and industrial. In addition, David has advised many start-ups both as a communications consultant and a lawyer.

Prior to founding FeverPress, David was the head of Corporate Strategy at kwittken + company where he developed and implemented corporate positioning and executive visibility campaigns. Previously, David was a Managing Director in Special Situations at FTI Consulting’s Strategic Communications division working on issues management and cross border matters. David began his communications career as a Director at Brunswick Group in New York focusing on mergers and acquisitions.

David began his career as a corporate finance/securities lawyer in New York and practiced for many years, most recently at Morrison & Foerster LLP. Subsequently, David joined AOLTimeWarner as a member of AOL’s business development team where he structured and negotiated revenue and content deals and developed new business.

David is a member of the Bar in The State of New York. David received his JD at Columbia Law School and his BA from Stanford University. David has previously lived and worked in France and is fluent in French.

Tom Shea is an accomplished communications and public affairs professional who has advised chief executives and managed the communications functions at the highest levels of the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. He was previously a Managing Director of Teneo Strategy, an innovative global advisory firm that assists corporations, governments, and organizations in optimizing operational and development opportunities, executing strategic goals, building brands, and navigating political and regulatory issues.

At Teneo Strategy, Mr. Shea’s work was concentrated on CEO advisory, corporate communications, brand audits, change management communications and public affairs. His clients included the leaders of organizations ranging from a venerable global philanthropic organization and groundbreaking think tank to leading companies across several disparate industries and sectors including financial services, education and natural resources.

Prior to joining Teneo, Mr. Shea served as Chief of Staff to New Jersey Governor Jon S. Corzine, where he managed all aspects of the Governor’s legislative, communications, cabinet relations and political affairs. As Chief of Staff, he acted as chief operating officer of a $32 billion, 80,000-person state government and led an immediate staff of 125 in the development and implementation of the Governor’s initiatives.

Mr. Shea was also Governor Corzine’s Chief of Staff during his tenure as a member of the United States Senate. As the Senator’s Chief of Staff, he directed a staff of 50 in the development and implementation of the Senator’s legislative agenda. He also acted as a senior strategist and communications adviser to Mr. Corzine during his U.S. Senate race and his two campaigns for the Governor’s Office.

Cindy Stoller has 14 years of experience executing media relations and corporate communications programs both in-house and for a diverse group of financial services clients within public relations agencies.

Most recently Cindy was a Director in the Corporate and Financial Communications group at the global public relations firm, Burson-Marsteller where she led high-profile executive visibility and proactive communications programs for Bank of America’s (BAC) Global Commercial Banking group, Accenture (ACN) Financial Services and Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) Financial Services. Cindy also served as the firm’s global media coordinator for the 2014 Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Morocco, which entailed leading the public relations initiatives for the US, EMEA and APAC regions.

Prior to joining Burson, Cindy was a Senior Director at Kwittken & Company, a boutique public relations agency, where she supervised the Financial Services team. At Kwittken, Cindy worked closely with asset management companies, including Virtus Investment Partners (VRTS), in addition to larger financial institutions such as American Express (AXP) and Guardian Life Insurance, to build proactive, opportunistic public relations programs targeting financial advisers, individual and institutional investors and CFOs.

Preceding Kwittken, Cindy was Director of Corporate Communications at Fitch Ratings where she managed all public relations activities for the Latin America, U.S. Public Finance and the Global Infrastructure & Project Finance analytical teams. During her almost five-year tenure at Fitch, Cindy was responsible for the reputation management of the analytical teams related to the subprime market downturn. Earlier in her career, Cindy managed high profile accounts including New York Life Insurance Company. She began her financial services communications career as a public relations associate with Prudential Financial (PRU).

Cindy holds a BA in Communications from the University at Albany. She currently serves on the junior board of Brooklyn Community Services and is an active volunteer with the Brooklyn Public Library.
